Meet Melanie
Melanie believes a home is your nest and your nest egg. By listening to clients' needs and balancing them with market knowledge and analyses, she guides her clients to make informed choices. Being part of the emotional and financial decisions involved in home sales is second nature to Melanie. Whether it is negotiating a contract or showing prorperty, she works tenaciously for her clients. ,She is able to get the most complicated deals under contract and to the closing table with a list of expert service providers. Prior to being a realtor, Melanie was in advertising; knowing how to communicate and relate to people is Melanie's biggest asset.
Melanie grew up moving so when asked "where are your from," a lengthy answer ensues. She moved to Raleigh with her Tar Heel husband, Greg, from New York City via Richmond, Virginia. He was called as the fourth rector of St. Michael's Episcopal Church in 2004. Melanie was excited to be part of a mid-size, growing city but the real draw was ACC sports. She played lacrosse at Brown University and was team captian as well as an All-Ivy and All-America selection multiple years. She is consistently a leader and team player you want on your side.
Melanie volunteers with her church and started a bi-annual womens retreat with national speakers. She serves on the parent's admissions team at Saint Mary's School and is on the board of the Brown University Alumni Group of the Triangle. She is an avid tennis player and has recently given up running for an obsession with the Peloton. Melanie and her husband live in Five Points with their three daughters and rescue dog.
